Everybody is familiar with crutches. However, most people hate to use them. When sitting down, where do you leave your crutches? They look hideous next to your design furniture, and if possible you’d prefer to leave them at home when taking a stroll down town. Things are about to change for the better, with Arbin Care’s Quickstep crutches. A medical device like a pair of glasses has been accepted as a fashionable accessory since forever. Quickstep: the crutch that stands up. By itself!
During the process of designing the Quickstep, technology powerhouse TNO has made various strength and endurance calculations to make the Quickstep as strong as possible. The TüV organisation has tested the final design based on European standards for which the Quickstep had to endure over 1 million (!) steps. After a developing process of more than 4 years we have achieved our final goal and a wonderful end result which is also patented. The Quickstep crutch has an unique feature as it can be folded in to a length of only 67 centimeters after usage. Due to its compact size the crutch can be stored anywhere easily, for example underneath the dinner table or in the train or airplane. Also, it can stand on the ground by itself by just turning it upside down. Easy to use, and without nuisance and annoyance due to the crutch falling down, which is the case with regular ones.
